End of March Blog.

While this post may not reach a lot of people, enough time has passed for me to make my statement.

As I have been seeing posts of others deciding to leave Deviantart in light of the website promoting Eh-Eye art, I'm sure you guys would want to know my decision on the matter.

Rest assured.

I will stay.

I will fight.

Knowing that it's this bad, it makes better sense to stay and fight than just run away. I know I'll probably never reach 1K at this point now. But fame was never my intention. It was for fun. Besides, when we look back at this in the future, you may find lesser known artists like myself more engaging to research (I've done one such research paper in college).

I have been far less active on this website, hell on other alternatives, than I hoped thanks to my job, which, in all fairness and despite recent irritation, has given me a much needed leg up. Perhaps after my sister's wedding this Friday, I would start uploading artwork that I've created years ago but not uploaded on here (namely, the remaining Kaiju and bestiary). While this would create spoilers for my headcanon universe, I would just make an extensive blog post on what I have planned or had planned ("had" referring to the recurring possibility that files, no matter how well maintained, get corrupted and websites become abandoned links) for my universe.

Bear in mind that they'll still have the watermark loud and proud on them. Anyone who complains will be blocked. I must stress tremendously that it's because of the situation right now on this website that I, and perhaps we, would have our hands forced. Complaining about our watermarks only shows ignorance of what's going on.

Likewise, I'm stressing as well that you, and any other new coming user on this website, to follow me. Not because of popularity points, but just to know that there are legit artists on this website. Not to mention that through me, you might just find other legit artists on the following section of my userpage and their artworks on my favorites tab. There is strength in numbers. And I implore, and I mean IMPLORE, that you to gather that strength.

... But in the case that the website becomes an abandoned domain, you can find me on

Twitter (yes, I still use Twitter, you can find my animations there).

Newgrounds (A little tricky to find an audience. I probably just haven't wowed them yet)

Bluesky (If it ever gets video support, I'd start uploading my animations there).

Artfol (It's okay, though I just haven't been using it enough. Also no video support).

Inkblot (notably buggy for some reason, even on mobile. I get more with the status posts).

My Facebook, Tumblr, and Discord are kept private. For the third, I am hoping to join more servers with a similar interest to mine.

I have just heard of Sheezy through other similar journal posts to this one, though I believe it's currently invite only.

But yeah, that's my stance on the situation. Again, I will stay. I will continue fighting.

For new artists I follow.

In a website now dominated by AI art, scammers, let alone art thieves, shouldn't it be wise of you to follow back those who have put in the time and effort (e.g. lifted a drawing or sculpting tool. A computer mouse also counts. All the way down to a watermark for good measure) who follow you?

It would be of great help to gather strength from those of us who still stay and don't us AI.

My thirty-first February... And Knuckles.

Amusingly, when we got Sonic 3 on my birthday, it was just the cartridge, so we didn't know who he was until I started playing Sonic Adventure on the Dreamcast.

To this day, I feel Knuckles needs more love than Shadow, and I'm glad they're giving him the similar respect I had way back when.

Honestly, beyond a possible Chaotix remake, a Knuckles game would work well with the open world formula. I haven't played Sonic: Frontiers, but I know from honest memory that a climbing, gliding, burrowing egg laying mammal has more exploration options than even a flying Kitsune.

Since I've already been told twice about not using the watermark because it "gives a bad impression for distracting the piece from a distance." Allow to remind you that it's because of Deviantart's situation with AI artists and art thieves that my hand is forced. And there are art thieves who are accomplished photo editors. And so far, it's working well. I am on other websites where I post them without a watermark, but here, the watermark is staying, loud and proud, and I am not bending. "But what about followers or the-?" Those days are over. I have a full time job that's giving me the fighting chance I desperately needed during the 2010's. I don't need commissions or a patreon and all that. So. No more complaints about the watermark, please? Or so help me, God forbid, the block button is right there. This is my choice to begin with coming back here. And until Deviantart changes it's mind about the situation above, I will hear no more about it.

Where do I start? Remember how I mentioned the likes of MayandKirby and DeviantMaster on that list? Of course, they did not take it well. Perhaps it's because I haven't detailed them enough or unproper wording. But let me expand upon this regarding their responses that I've since deleted. I was aware of Slapstick's behavior and blocked him accordingly. I looked and blocked other people they were exposing and I do believe their evidence. It was MMXCrossoveranime's reaction to me blocking him in the first place is because I felt uncomfortable looking into his profile that this mess happened in the first place. He says he's turned a new leaf, but I say the fence was already damaged for him and it'll take a long while for him to earn my trust. Which is now never. Not if he and his pals call me "selfish, toxic, or a creep." And them trying to get others to have me unblock them isn't going to do them better. If I block you, it's because of something you've done in the past that will just as well happen again to others. In other words, you're a troublemaker, an art thief, or whatever equal or worse. So to summarize: 1) If you are blocked, move on. There is no need of you to write things about me and it comes to you as a whiner. 2) Likewise, those of you who get asked to ask me why I blocked said user or are asking me to unblock them, I absolutely implore you to block them too. There are better things for you to do anyway. I've been getting this four times now, and just recently one of the people I've blocked is saying I'm selfish. Those of you who have seen my LBT fan art may have heard of me mentioning of one particular user Zachosau and how I have constantly told him not to make anything about the crossover with Equestria Girls under the name "It Came from the Mysterious Beyond." https://www.deviantart.com/zachosau Well, he's at it again, re-uploading my original poster without permission or credit and said he'd make an original poster which, again uses one of my artworks without permission or credit, with the intention of "owning the idea." I apologize to the person who just voted yes on that poll, but I'm not feeling like... Myself. I don't know, I just don't have the same energy as it was a year ago. Maybe it's my occupation, or the need to have one to survive as I pay down my bills. I... I just don't know... Likewise, while I will continue making art, submitting them might also be delayed as well for the rest of the year too. Especially if I am seeing group mods struggling and in turn blaming DA's new layout instead of seeking help from those who have found the solution. If you're in as many groups as I am, you'd understand why. Would I change my mind? Sure. But right now, I'm not in the right state of mind to do so.
